    RallySport Direct carries a large selection of Pulleys to improve the performance of your vehicle. How does a pulley create more horsepower? For example, in the Subaru platform, the factory crank pulley is a tad heavy as it should be. But a lighter pulley creates less rotational mass which allows the mechanism of the motor to move a little easier. Because the length of the Subaru crankshaft is so short, you don't have the issue of balance whereas, something with an inline 6 would be affected after some time. 

    Additionally, some factory crank pulleys or harmonic balancers if you will. risk coming apart. How so? Some crank pullies are made with urethane center construction that can become weak over time, and actually separate from the metal surface of the pulley. Most aftermarket pulleys we offer eliminate this possibility with solid aluminum construction.
