Oil Cooler Thermostats

RallySport Direct does carry Oil Cooler Thermostats. Yes, that's right some vehicles do have a factory oil cooler thermostat. For example in the Mitsubishi Evolution, the design uses an oil thermo switch that will activate at 85°C. But when the oil pressure becomes low, it will not activate which restricts the oil flow to the oil cooler which causes the oil temps to get pretty high.

Currently, we carry an Oil Cooler Thermostat from HKS which allows the oil to flow through the oil cooler constantly regardless of the temperature. This is a great upgrade for those of you who live in warmer climates, or who are regular track participants. and when the winter months arrive, you can simply remove and convert it back to stock.
