Boost Control Solenoids

If you are not hitting your target boost numbers, and you go down the checklist and everything else is okay with the engine such as no boost leaks, maintenance is up to date as far as spark plugs, oil is topped off, and if you have a COBB Accessport and it pulls no codes, then this could be an indication that you have a faulty Boost Control Solenoid.  If you have a faulty Boost Control Solenoid, then more than likely you will only be hitting wastegate boost pressure numbers. With that said if you are driving your WRX and you're only seeing around 7 PSI of peak boost, then you should inspect your factory equipped boost control solenoid.
