The factory brake lines in some makes and models are made from reinforced rubber which is suitable for the daily driver. But secondly, if you are a track participant that stainless steel brake lines will not expand and rupture under extreme braking conditions which is obviously dangerous. Stainless steel brake lines are a cost-effective and efficient modification that provides better pedal response and will provide you with years of reliability.
