TEIN S.Tech lowering springs are compatible with stock shocks, particularly on newer vehicles with well-maintained suspension systems. However, for older models with worn or aging shocks, it’s a good idea to replace the shocks when installing the springs. Since S.Tech springs lower the car and feature higher spring rates than OEM, they can increase wear on older shocks. If your shocks are in solid condition, they’ll handle the upgrade without any issues.
