The Steamspeed STX71 8 CM² is the perfect turbocharger for those looking to get within the 400 to 450 WHP range with supporting modifications. Like all Steamspeed turbochargers, the STX 71 8CM² has been designed and manufactured using the latest in turbocharger technology to deliver a suitable replacement for those looking for more power and better performance. This is achieved through an 11-blade billet compressor wheel, along with a low-inertia 9-blade turbine design that delivers great transient boost response, and provides better peak potential when compared to other turbochargers in similar sizing. 

The STX 71 8CM² is rated at 59LBS/MIN and is recommended to complement those with a built motor looking to make up to 450WHP, and feature CHRA  thrust bearings built to handle higher boost applications and higher power output, and an adjustable wastegate is included to help users hit those target boost numbers.
