How It Works and What's Inside
The IAG Air / Oil Separator employs a novel baffle system to collect and drain oil from your engine's PCV gasses back into the crankcase. The AOS body's inflow hoses generate an internal gas vortex, which filters through the baffles, retaining the oil and allows the gas to escape from the top of the canister. Because the OEM PCV is still operating, the engine can create greater vacuum, which aids in the removal of more PCV gases.
New and Improved PCV Valve
The IAG Air/Oil Separator complements the OEM PCV system, increasing its capacity. It directs PCV gasses to the turbo inlet via an improved PCV check valve, resulting in enhanced suction and air-oil separation. It minimizes oil dilution and lubrication problems in ethanol-fueled applications by removing fuel vapors from the oil and reintroducing them for combustion. IAG's AOS prevents oil from entering the intake and oil dilution in the engine's lubrication system, well exceeding the capabilities of the OEM PCV system alone.

Lower Build Up of Condensation
The IAG Air / Oil Separator has a patented heating technology that effectively addresses difficulties common in lower-quality catch cans. Unlike inferior designs that allow hot PCV gasses to pass through cold passageways, resulting in condensation mixed with oil and sludge, IAG's better design is integrated into the vehicle's cooling system. This allows heat to flow from the engine to the AOS canister. Condensation and related accumulation are considerably reduced or avoided by heating the AOS canister to the same temperature as the engine.
