This is the cp-e Stage 2 Race Front Mount Intercooler Core. The factory intercooler on the Ecoboost platform is small, and when you start performing bolt-on modifications, you will surpass the limits and thermal capacity of the factory intercooler. This will increase the chances of heat soak, but you are also putting a limit on the performance of your modifications. The cp-e unit offers a larger volume core that provides more area surface coverage that will fight the chances of heat soak and will provide the efficient cooling needed for better performance.
