DM-1 Precision Shift Arm

The DM-1 Precision Shift Arm completely replaces your OEM shift arm, providing the highest level of accuracy and precision when paired with the DM-1 V2 Shifter. Its integrated needle bearing u-joint eliminates the side-to-side play found in the stock design, while a billet mechanical joint enhances smoothness and delivers a more gated shift feel. To ensure durability, the shift arm is protected with Cerakoting, anodizing, and a rubber boot that shields the u-joint from wear and the elements.

 

Needle Bearing U-Joint

At the core of the DM-1 is a precision needle bearing u-joint welded directly to the shift arm. Unlike OEM or typical aftermarket solutions, no assembly is required. Preloaded with needle bearings, it provides immediate, fluid engagement and removes the unwanted slop in the stock design. Many aftermarket versions risk binding due to design limitations, but the DM-1 avoids such issues entirely. A rubber boot is also included to provide extra protection from dirt, debris, and environmental conditions.

 

Billet Mechanical Joint

To further refine the shifting feel, the DM-1 incorporates a billet mechanical joint made from CNC-machined aluminum and steel. This joint improves the shifter’s side-to-side movement, allowing for a smoother, more precise transition across the shift pattern. The result is a distinctly tighter, more controlled driving feel that mimics the sensation of a gated shifter.

 

Long-Lasting Protection

The DM-1 is finished with Cerakote and anodizing to ensure exceptional resistance against corrosion, wear, and environmental damage. These treatments not only extend the life of the shift arm but also maintain its premium finish and reliable performance for years of spirited driving.
