On this page, you are looking at the Cusco Heat Shield that will come with the Throttle Body Hose. The intended purpose of this component is to provide an extra shield of protection to the top mount intercooler from heat generated from the turbocharger. Once enough heat has entered into the intercooler, it is no longer effective and may cause detonation under high boost. This Heat Shield mounts onto factory brackets, uses factory hardware, is made to accommodate larger downpipes, and will greatly reduce the amount of heat that is allowed to radiate into the intercooler.

• Heatshield features durable stainless steel construction
• Protects surrounding components from the extreme heat generated from the turbocharger
• Helps prevent heat soak to the factory top mount intercooler
• Mounts onto the factory brackets

• May not work with an aftermarket turbocharger or intercooler due to variances in size
