This particular tool in the Company 23 JDM AVCS Intake Cam Sprocket Tool. It's intended purpose is to allow you to remove the JDM AVCS intake cam sprockets without damaging the cam or the sprocket. One of the better features of this tool is that the interface will not round out the internal pulley splines as other tool designs will do. This tool also makes for a great option for cam seal renewals, cylinder head removal, or even motor tear downs.
