The Morimoto XB Lamp Ignitor which has been designed to allow those with certain HID systems to switch from AMP to D2S or vice versa, and makes the conversion between the two pretty simple. Morimoto designed the XB Lamp Ignitor with extra protection as the connection between the ignitor and the ballast is sealed with an AMP SuperSeal three-pin connector which ensures the safety of this connection.
The XB Ignitor is also quiet under operation because the lack of high-voltage transmitted through the wiring will drastically reduce the EMI/RFI (radio interference), and the main circuit is shielded to protect from static bursts upon startup.
These will be sold individually and will make for a great addition to your HID system.
