    This is the new CSF Super Manifold. This is a highly engineered charge-air cooler manifold that has been designed utilizing the most advanced technology, and it is the result of 1500+ hours of design, prototype development, machining, and testing. Partnering with VF Engineering and Custom Plenum Creations, this is a state-of-the-art CNC machined high-performance charge-air cooler manifold that solves what has been commonly known as a weak link in the B58 platform. 

    This larger manifold will create a more efficient water-to-air intercooler performance, lower pressure drop across the system. And it is ideal for those of you who are building a high horsepower street or drag car but will absolutely deliver on track-dedicated race cars. It will include a fuel rail, a kit for top-feed port injection, as well as several other industry-leading features.

    REPLACES THE WEAK LINK FOUND IN THE B58

    • The stock manifold can only sustain a limited amount of power
    • The CSF unit can handle 1000+ HP

    SUMMARY OF TESTING:

    • Faster recovery of intake ait temperatures 
    • -30°F reduction of intake air temperatures (IAT's) compared to OEM
    • Less pressure drop compared to the OEM core
    • Puts less stress on the turbo system, allowing more boost to be made at higher targets
    • Avoided going into limp mode after prolonged demanding conditions, simulating motorsports use
    • On a stage 2 car with bolt-on upgrades, making 400whp and comparing dyno runs between CSF and OEM, there was an increase of +26who and 11wtq were achieved 
    • The performance increase and delta between CSF and OEM will be bigger as power is increased in the vehicle

     

    INDIVIDUAL NITROUS / METHANOL INJECTION POINTS:

    • On the outlet tank, each cylinder runner has a 1/8th NPT port which can be used for nitrous or methanol injection
    • The CSF manifold allows for maximum spray control and even spray distribution throughout the engine
    • A much safer option when compared to tapping into the factory plastic intake manifold

     

    TOP FEED PORT INJECTION WITH INCLUDED FUEL RAIL:

    • Includes an extruded fuel rail that can be attached to the outlet side of the manifold
    • The AN -8 fuel rai comes with feed and return -8 internal hex plug fittings from Radium Engineering for a plug and play installation
    • Fuel rail aperture for each cylinder is optimized 7mm opening for compatibility with most commonly used high-performance injectors
    • CSF recommends using Injector Dynamics injectors for the best performance- the most commonly used injector for this engine has been the ID model # 1050.34.14.14.6 (qty 6)
    • Anodized CNC machined injector hats are included in the supplied hardware kit to accommodate short height injectors aka "shorties"

     

    AIR / INLET DIVIDER

    • Air inlet divider welded into the inlet side tank of the manifold
    • With the length of the design, the engineered at VF engineering wanted to make sure that the volume and velocity of air received to the back of the manifold to cylinder areas # 4, 5, and 6 would be equal to the airflow passing through the front half of the manifold for #1, 2, and 3. 
    • This ensures the best possible and equal cooling performance to each cylinder of the engine

     

    BREATHER PORTS FOR INLET/OUTLET OF WATER TANKS

    • (2) 1/8th NPT ports are located on the top of the back water plate
    • These can be used to measure the inlet/outlet water temps as well as used as breather ports to help in the bleeding procedure to ensure all air has been cleared from the water system
    • Will include 1/8th NPT plugs
