The NexGen Ethanol Sensor Kit is the core component of the NexGen Flex Fuel product offering. This plug-and-play kit is comprised of an ethanol content sensor with mounting bracket, fuel lines designed to be used with COBB Fuel Lines, a NexGen Flex Fuel module, and a convenient wiring harness that seamlessly brings everything together for hassle-free installation.

The ethanol content sensor of OE quality is mounted on a powder coated aluminum bracket that is custom-made. With the help of a pre-made fuel line offering an OE quick disconnect, fuel is conveyed to and from the sensor. To ensure effortless integration with the COBB Fuel Rail Line Kit, a billet adapter is included.

The NexGen Flex Fuel Module is installed on the strut tower on the passenger's side. It handles all data processing and sends the ethanol content to the ECU. The Accessport delivers the NexGen Flex Fuel calibration for use.

A convenient and user-friendly wiring harness ties all the components together. It's easy to install and plug-and-play friendly, ensuring a quick and reliable installation process. How Does It Work?
The COBB NexGen Ethanol Sensor Kit detects the level of ethanol in the fuel and sends this information to the ECU for Flex Fuel calibration.

This part is legal under the provisions of EPA’s Anti-Tampering Policy. COBB Tuning has established a reasonable basis (testing results) to verify that this product allows the vehicle to operate within legal emissions standards and is therefore legal to be sold for on-street use in all states that accept the legal provisions of the Clean Air Act and EPA’s Anti-Tampering Policy.

Testing with the California Air Resources Board, in order to achieve 50-state compliance, is pending. Once testing is complete with California, and an EO number is issued, this product will be updated to 50-state legal status.
