    This is the ETS 3.5-Inch Front Mount Intercooler Core. This intercooler has been designed to lower those intake charge temperatures and to prevent heat soak when the thermal capacity limits are surpassed with the factory top mount design. When you perform modifications that increase the horsepower, torque, and boost, you are creating a performance ceiling as the factory top mount setup can only cool so much. A larger top-mount design can certainly help in some ways, but you are limited with space which means the core can only increase in size by so much. A front mount setup on the new WRX will have a larger core that will have a lot more surface area coverage to lower those intake charge temperatures. You will maximize the overall performance out of your other modifications, and you will optimize your turbocharger's overall performance efficiency for more power and torque.

    NOTES:

    • The FMIC core does require the ETS intake and WILL NOT fit with the OEM intake and air box
    • This is just for the core only, and the intercooler pipes are not included
