Radium Fuel Surge Tank Install Kit - 2003-2007 Mitsubishi EVO 8-9

This is the Radium Engineering Fuel Surge Tank Install Kit. This is a comprehensive installation kit that includes everything needed to install a Radium Surge Tank with a single 39mm fuel pump. This kit includes all of the major components including but not limited to, PTFE-insulated wiring and submersible hose to make this kit ethanol/methanol/E85 compliant. Additionally, this kit has been designed to locate the fuel surge tank in a collision-safe area of the trunk centered behind the rear seat. This allows for the majority of the trunk space to still be usable. The aluminum bracket in this kit will solidly mount to the V-brace in the front of the rear seat carpet cover in the trunk. The fuel surge tank with the black anodized bracket in this kit is isolated through the OEM carpet cover to reduce fuel pump noise and vibration. Additionally, included are wiring components with flying leads featuring Raychem solderless butt splices, and a weatherproof fuse and relay to drive the fuel surge tank's fuel pump. The wiring is fairly simple and can be assembled in 30 minutes without any soldering.

NOTES:

• Due to the restrictive return port on the OEM fuel pump housing, a slightly higher static fuel pressure is normal when using a high-flow pump
• To alleviate this issue, the OEM venturi jet pump in the return port can be modified to alleviate the restriction and promote fuel flow back into the OEM fuel tank
• Not designed to work with the Radium MPFST
