This is the Radium Engineering Dual Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit. This kit combines Radium's CCV, as well as the PCV system to provide your Evo X with the ultimate defense mechanism against unwanted oil and vapors from entering your intake system. Oil catch cans are essential on a performance vehicle to protect the engine from elevated levels of crankcase blow-by accumulated from high-performance driving conditions. Excess oil-saturated air circulating back into the air intake stream can lead to degraded performance.

 

CCV CATCH CAN HIGHLIGHTS:

• Installs on the LH side of the strut tower
• Plumbs in line with the crankcase vent hose which is the hose that connects from the port of the valve cover to the turbo air intake pipe
• Helps keep oil out of the intercooler and associated piping

 

INCLUDES:

• Billet oil catch can with integrated condenser and dipstick
• Laser-cut anodized LH mounting bracket
• Anodized aluminum hose ends and adapter fittings
• Enough black PCV hose for custom applications
• Stainless steel mounting hardware 

 

PCV CATCH CAN HIGHLIGHTS:

• Installs next to the RH strut tower and plumbs in-line between the PCV valve and the intake manifold 
• This kit maintains the OEM closed system operation of the PCV valve while keeping oil and other contaminants from entering the intake manifold

NOTE:

• Because the Radium catch can are pressure sealed, they are safe for boosted applications, so connecting to the intake manifold is permitted without a check valve
