This is the GrimmSpeed Aluminum Turbo Inlet. The OEM inlet is a fragile plastic unit that tends to crack after time, mileage, or from removal to perform other means of maintenance. GrimmSpeed resolves this issue with a cast aluminum replacement that has been machined and is much stronger than the OEM unit. The OEM unit tends to crack at the bypass valve port, as well as the flange side. The GrimmSpeed unit is incredibly strong and will be the only inlet you will need to purchase for your WRX.
