These inserts increase engine and transmission noise a fair amount. At first I wasn’t sure I liked this. Now, I’m just accustomed to it. Since they’re a lot firmer than the OE parts and increased noise, I would think they’re doing something to reduce engine movement under acceleration. Installing the inserts in the OE mount was easy. But having to remove/reinstall the intercooler isn’t ever easy.

Heatstreak
I just installed this on my 2012 WRX. the most difficult part is replacing the lower bushing. Had to use a 32mm socket for axles and a 19mm socket on a table vice to push it out. Getting the new one in is also tricky, but I got lucky and was able to get it in one piece. All in all, totally worth it, like the 1st guy said no change in NVH, stiffens stuff up nicely and its cheaper than the group-N version

I ordered this for my 1993 Impreza-I already had put a Group N STi pitch stop in, and noticed a difference. I used these inserts in the stock pitch stop, and I had to bend the metal tabs on the firewall side to get this to fit back in place. Huge, ridiculous issue of an install, but now the motor does not move. The singing of the 1.8 through the firewall when I bring this thing to redline, is like Alicia Keys voice when she first came out with "If I Ain't Got You".

No added NVH noticed, very easy to upgrade the stock pitch stop. I noticed better wot shifts, has alleviated some bucking. I see no reason to spend $100+ on Pitch stops when you can simply upgrade your lightweight factory unit.

A: We currently have this bushing insert kit confirmed up until 2007 model vehicles, but not 2008 and later.

A: Can confirm that it fits the 08+ Imprezas. I just installed this in my 2012 WRX. Hardest part is replacing the smaller bushing.
