After installing this on my 2007 STi, the long bolt that holds the links to the knuckle was only coming half way through the nut. Whiteline customer support was very helpful in resolving the issue so this gets 3 stars for that. The SuperPro kit is better quality and fit perfectly, so I would recommend you get that instead.
Installed into STI aluminum lateral links on an 07 Forester XT. The new bushings really tightened up the rear of the car, and cause no NVH. Pressing out the old bushings is easy with a basic bushing press kit you can get at harbor freight or rent from an auto parts store. The two piece poly bushings press in by hand.
These poly bushings worked great for my Forester's rear lateral links, they don't look as nice as Energy Suspension bushings as they are mold poured and not fully machined out. But the function/performance is not affected!
After having all 8 stock bushings pressed out at a local shop, installing these bushings by hand was straightforward and very easy. Everything went back together easily, and the rear end of the car feels great. I have not noticed any additional noise or vibration from these bushings, so that is a added bonus.
awesome bushings tighten up the car a lot more less body roll and more of a connected feel to the car. i pressed the old bushings into a 32mm socket (which is the perfect size for holding the lateral link) but then the bushing gets stuck in the socket so i greased up the socket and heated it up with a torch and pulled it out with a vise grip. you do however need a good amount of experience to do this the big lateral link to knuckle bolt is infamous for being seized and can cause lots of problems. If your confident tearing apart your Subaru then do it if you haven't done much suspension work save this for later or have someone do it for you.
