I ended up tearing out my OEM rear bushing in my front lower control arm. While replacing those bushings, I figured might as well replace the front bushings too. These are a slightly different design than the OEM ones on my 2011 STI, so don't expect them to look the same. At any rate., these are super easy to install into the control arm (no press needed!). They were kind of hard to reinstall into the subframe because the bushing material is a tight fit - make sure you grease them up really well to help with install and to keep them from squeaking. With some effort, you'll be able to get them to line up with the bolt holes. Just be aware - at least in my case - it wasn't as simple as sliding them in. It's a super tight fit into the subframe, but they do fit. Gauging the performance is a little hard since I also did the rear bushing at the same time. With both bushings updated, the car feels pretty good. I wouldn't recommend doing all the work just to replace these bushings - if, on the other hand, you are going to be replacing the rear bushings also, then you should definitely also replace the front ones too, and these seem to work quite well.
