First off I'm a factory trained Subaru specialist with years of dealership experience. Car: 1997 Impreza w/ 2007 wrx rear suspension & isc coilovers (2.0" lower than stock) I want to warn slim body and wrx wagon owners that if you use any amount of negitave camber with a lowered vehicle with these or possibly any adjustable lateral links your axles WILL pop out of the rear differential. This happened to me personally. They both pop out around -1.0 or so and had to adjust back to +0.5 to get the flanges to sit correctly in the air with the axle nut free. The fix is sedan wrx rear axles which are approx. 15mm longer. Out of the box: Initially Whiteline packs professionally. They sent a bunch of stickers (that weren't protected and got damaged), but the links showed up perfect cosmetically. Mechanically, well good thing I took these things apart. I had to use about 1/4 bottle of anti-sieze. 2 of the links came with NO anti-sieze on ANY of the threads and were rusting and already very hard to turn. The other 2 came with very little lube on them and were a little easier to turn with a very minor amount of surface rust on some threads. I was a little disappointed about this(I live in colorado with low humidity). So make sure you take the time to take these apart and lube them. Aside from that these things are beefy, fit really nice, look nice, adjustment is only ok (since the fronts seem to be 29mm nut and rear seem to be 30mm which made me have to switch wrenches a lot since you have to pretty much tighten them together). I have jdm 20mm subaru rear sway bar, whiteline links and sway bar mounts and everything fits perfect! Overall 4/5 because of the BNIB rust on the threads and lack of lube during assembly. When these things seize, you're done.
Great build quality. Looks good, too. Greatly improved my handling, especially when combined with a rear sway bar and lateral links.

Q: Bushings Toddguy4 years ago
Does the OE whiteline bushing set fit in these? I need to buy these now because the bushings go bad on the eibach set and you’re out of luck because they aren’t replaceable.

Q: Lifting 06 wrx wagon 72superdude9 years ago
Looking to lift my wagon with forester suspension and was wondering if this was the item needed (in addition to the struts and springs) to maintain proper wheel angle in the rear or is that adjustable rear control arms?

A: These lateral links should be able to correct the toe and camber adjustments after raising the ride height, but we cannot guarantee that because they are not intended for raised vehicles. If you are using Forester struts and springs, then we also recommend using the OEM Forester subframe spacers as well as Forester rear sway bar mounts.

Q: WRX wagon vs Sedan Lateral links. Harry Williams10 years ago
What is the difference between these (wagon specific) and the Sedan specific Whiteline adjustable later links? If I get the sedan specific links for my '02 Wagon can I use Sedan sway bars and sway bar mounts? I know stock vs stock the wagon arms are not as long / less track. Thanks!

A: The length of these units and where the endlinks mount will be the difference. It is definitely possible to swap a wagon to a wider track, but we do not have the specifics on what is required.

A: The wagon specific lateral links won't line up to sedan end links. They are much shorter as you can see in this pic (wagon Whiteline lateral link compared to installed OEM link.) The link will not reach the hub if mounted to to sedan sway bar. Hope this helps.

Q: Ive got a quick question donovan.dunlap10 years ago
I am purchasing the Tein Flex coilovers and they come with the ability to adjust the front camber correct? I am looking to adjust my rear for the best way to adjust the rear camber to match the negative camber I will be adjusting the front to using the coilovers. I am just wondering would it be best to get and install this full kit for the rear or go cheaper and get the eibach kit. Also where exactly would all 4 of these bar mount up too. P.S. I drive an 05 subaru wrx wagon if that makes any difference

A: For your 2005 WRX the least expensive way to adjust rear camber is to get rear camber bolts. From there you can get these Whiteline units to get even more adjustment if needed. Mounting will be from the hub to the rear subframe. Take a look under the rear of your car and you will see all 4 of the stock units.
