Features & Product Details
RallySport Direct always carries a great variety of automotive performance suspension components brought to you by Whiteline.
On this page, you are looking at the Whiteline Rear Differential Support Lock Bushings. These bushings feature durable urethane construction and will help eliminate excessive movement of the rear differential front support. This will allow a better transfer of energy to the wheels for a smoother and more linear acceleration throughout the entire RPM range.

Installed on my 07 XT. Driver side was fine, but on the passenger side, the differential support bracket has a different shape, and the bushing these rings sandwich sits a bit lower (no idea why). This causes the bottom ring to really squeeze tight and the top to be loose. I've read a few reports of this on other Foresters, though it doesn't seem to be consistent across a given model year. I ended up stacking the two rings on top, and that seem to get appropriately tight. Regardless of the fit, it definitely improves handling, adds no NVH and is very cheap.
Very easy simple install realistically took about 15mins with basic tools. Cheap quick mod and the shifting connects more and you can really feel the difference in between shifts. Would recommend anyone on a budget and racing quality shifting. Makes vibrations in the car but I don't mind they are subtle.
these things are wonderful for how cheap they are. Installation literally takes 15 minutes in your driveway with 2 different sized sockets. No extra NVH that I can tell so far. If you get these you do not need to get the full outrigger bushing replacements offered by whiteline, this will do the exact same thing, will not increase NVH by any measurable amount as well as take much less time to install. If you can lay on your back and turn a wrench you can do this install.
Amazing what these things do. Install is super easy.
Don't think twice just buy these. You're car will thank you!!!

A: These bushings replace the subframe rear diff support. These are completely different from the subframe bolts.

Q: Do I need both? DocB047 years ago
Do I need to order these in conjunction with the Whiteline Rear Diff Bushings?

A: Hi DocBO4, We offer two "rear differential" bushings for the same generation Subaru's: W91380 and W91379. This kit (KSB751) and W91379 mount in the same location and you would not be able to install BOTH simultaneously. W91380 does mount in a separate location and CAN be used in conjunction with KSB751 (and is highly recommended), but is not mandatory. I hope this helps.

Q: 2006 Forester XT Hinkes8 years ago
Are these rear diff support lock bushings be used together with the rear diff support outrigger bushings? Or are they two different fixes one is easier (support lock bushings) and the other is harder (support outrigger bushings).

A: These rear diff support lock bushings serve the same purpose as the outrigger bushings and they are not intended to be used together. These inserts are an addition to the stock bushings, and the outrigger bushings replace the stock bushings. The inserts work well and they are much easier to install.

A: As Zach mentioned, the two kits you referenced are designed for the same location on the vehicle and are not designed to be used together. I generally recommend the inserts for vehicle's that OR bushings that are still in good condition as they are easier to install, cost less, and have almost the same level of performance when used with a bushing in good condition. If your OE bushings have deteriorated significantly, then a complete replacement bushing may be a better route.
