I installed this with a few other parts to stiffen up the rear of my 04 WRX. There was a noticeable difference, but I'm not sure how much of it was the strut bar. Still recommend it since its such an easy upgrade.

I installed this on a '07 STI. Install was simple and fast. Just make sure you reroute IC hose so it doesn't get pinched. Simple and cheap upgade.

Pretty straight forward and easy install, I had a little trouble getting them on the top of the strut towers so I had to disconnect the seatbelts. I already had a front strut bar installed before this one so I didn't notice too much of a difference before and after but definitely an improvement.

The easiest way for me to install was to disassemble the bar and remove the rear seat. Install the two outer brackets from the backseat. Then get in the trunk and install the tie bar. Looks great, a quality part.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: fitment  adley4 years ago

will this fit on a 2007 wrx wagon as well?
    • Q: placement  JC478 years ago

Does this go in the trunk or behind the rear seats?

A:  Technically, the bar would be in the trunk. When installing this you would remove the rear seats to gain access to the rear strut where the mounts connect into.
