usually really like whiteline stuff, had their links on my bugeye and got these for my '013 STI. pulling out of my driveway i heard a big CLUNK in the back, going down the street my steering was sloppy - checked under the back and saw the bolt on the sway bar end had broken completely (taking the nut with the end). on the remaining part i see evidence of rust at the break (shouldn't these things be stainless or some alloy not susceptible to that?). anyway, it's just a daily driver, low miles (50K mi total, probably about half that on these links since install 4 years ago). seems like a significant safety issue. 1 year warranty wheeee
Pros: - Adjustable - Accepts a wrench rather than an allen key to install/remove (unlike the factory endlinks which easily become stuck due to corrosion) Cons: - Even when properly torqued with loctite blue and a new nylon lock nut, it will back out. Put on a second lock nut when you install to solve this problem. - Wore out the balljoint portion of one endlink in one year (properly installed without angulation, rubber boot still intact). Whiteline did not warranty it but offered to sell a replacement at a reasonable cost.

A: Hi Tony, The silver washers are installed on either end of the sway bar to attach to the ball joint securing it. The gold "spacers" are mounted on the lower end of the end link where the bushing is.

Q: Lifting 2011 STI Hatchback Chism9 years ago
I'm looking at lifting my STI Hatchback 1.5-2 with a Kspec Rally Spec GR Coilover System. Is this product appropriate for correcting sway bar geometry?

A: There would not be enough adjustment in this endlink to make up for that much of a raise in suspension height.
