So I installed these with the Beatrush Trans Mount, Whiteline Positive Traction Kit, Gearbox Positive Shift Kit and Whiteline Front and Rear Shifter Bushings. Thank to these, the rear end feels much more planted and willing to turn in during corner entry while also feeling more responsive and cooperative. The diff feels more solid instead of wiggling a bit under accel and deceleration. In daily use on rough roads, it hasn't increased the ride stiffness by a noticeable amount to me and I can gladly live with it as a daily despite the harsh roads here. NVH also hasn't increased much. Install of these were the easiest out of the list, took under 30 minutes without jacking up the car.
Had previously stiffened up the front portion of the drivetrain and this finished the job. Also took care of a slight grinding sound on light deceleration. I'm guessing it straightened everything back up. Even at 80k mi the oem bushings had been through a lot. Easy install. Worth the money.
Can't believe what an improvement these made on the overall driveabililty of my 11 WRX hatch. Shifts are significantly smoother (especially 1st to 2nd) and the power delivery is immediate when you get on it, it just hauls a**! Also significantly reduced the rubber-band effect when letting off the gas at low speeds. I really wish I would've bought these sooner. I had these installed within an hour tops. Shipping was super quick (only took 3 days). Will continue to order from RSD!
I should have greased these up more, you should too. Paired with the Pos Trac inserts, I could feel the rear wheels work. On a 14 wrx, stock suspension, you know its AWD but it tends to feel like FWD or like you are floating in between 4 wheels when pushing it in corners. With the bushings, you know where you are located and can feel the rear wheels actively gripping and providing power.
I just installed these inserts.. top two went in just fine, the bottom two around the rear diff a pain. The nut on the driver side by the exhaust had been stripped to someone already messing with it before me. I didn't really notice a difference until I got on open road and gave it the beans.... WOW what a HUGE difference under load... for the money and mostly simple install.. def worth it. I will be buying the whiteline rear suspension inserts next with the steering rack bushings too..

A: Our installation instructions are generally designed to be used with the factory shop manual. The torque specs for this kit would need to be attained from the factory shop manual or a Subaru Dealer. However Duder did supply some torque specs below for a 2012 STI which seem to be fairly accurate. I recommend confirming the torqu specs for your vehicle with a trusted source.

A: The rear diff positive power kit will be different from the Subframe inserts and you could use both. Whiteline does not make subframe inserts however, our Perrin or our Kartboy have shown to be just as great!
