I installed these with the standard Steel control arms not the STI alum ones. One side was very hard to install and had to be really forced and required manipulation of the control arm. I also did not utilize spacers due to the fact I do not have a U Frame. The performance was night and day compared to my blown out oem bushings. I purchased the Race version and the car feels like it is on Rails. Front end stiffened up real well and car tracks smooth (after alignment as well) I felt the difference in braking as well.

The car feels much more stable at highway speeds. What surprised me was how much better it felt when braking. Much more solid. Noticeable but minimal increase in nvh. The installation instructions are not very specific on where the spacers go, basically larger spacers in the rear getting progressively smaller towards the front. My LF caster was always absurdly low at 2.8 and RF sat at 3.3. After the install LF was 4.2, RF 4.1. The bushing mounts are slotted and I pried them both all the way forward so there is some adjustment if needed. Great results well worth doing.

My cars lowered and has some slight rubbing when on the track. Will this stiffen the front and help reduce some rubbing ?

A: It will depend on what is causing the rubbing issue, but the added caster from these will likely help alleviate the issue. The added stiffness under acceleration and braking will also help, but it depends on what parts are causing the issue.
