These are an absolute waste of money. I installed these on my 2012 STI to replace cracked stock mounts. After 10,000 km the rubber was cracked to pieces and the units were garbage. Whiteline said it was not normal and sent a warranty replacement. I put the replacements on a shelf and installed OEM mounts. My friend with the same car also put these on. His did the same but failed even worse and in less distance. In summary, these are an absolute waste of money and i can't believe are still being sold.
These were great until they failed, twice. Should have bought ground control once
Suspension seems to soak up bunps better. Confused with creaking/popping/grinding noises. My mechanic installed white line top hats, superpro lower control arm bushings, Moog outer tie rods and sti struts all at once.(97 outback sport impreza) I still have clicking or pops when parking. Might be inner tie rods, which are already ordered and in transit as I leave this review!
I bought these despite all the mixed reviews. The product you receive looks far superior than the photos on this site. I have mine set on the max camber/caster setting and it improved both as claimed. My car is an 02 rs shell with 05 Sti suspension so a bit of a Frankenstein. I was only able to get -1.4/-1.3 camber but still a much needed improvement. Car handled noticeably better at the last track day and tire wear is more desirable. I would highly recommend them if your like me and want to retain your current ride height, increase camber and like your current strut/spring setup.
I'll start with the good: With these top mounts installed on my 2006 WRX wagon in the max caster/max negative camber position, my maximum possible camber went from -1.5 to -2.6. Stock caster of 3.5 increased to 4.3. I installed a Whiteline ALK at the same time, so some of the caster increase was a result of that mod. Now the bad that may offset all the good: My mounts came with the open designed Koyo 6302-4 bearings that have proven to be problematic. Whiteline is offering a replacement under warranty and hopefully a redesigned bearing will solve the problem. Maybe so maybe no... A big thanks to Rallysport Direct customer service for facilitating the replacement.

Q: Camber/Caster alignment. Brayden C.4 years ago
I recently lifted my 04 wrx wagon and on the front I have horribly positive camber AND caster. Will this allow me to fix my camber AND caster issue, or only one or the other?

Are these the front top hats? It's not specified. Also has the bearing design been improved with the sealed bearing?

A: Yes, these are the front strut tops. This kit is also currently using a new double sealed bearing design that has been available with excellent results since July 2014.

A: These will be for the fronts only. The shielded/sealed bearing is a much improved design for these.
