The quality is of is great! They were a little tricky to get since the driver side bracket buts up next to the r canister. I purchased this with the adjustable 24mm rear sway bar and installed both of them in with in 40ish minutes. You could feel the difference automatically
They make it so I can mount a 24mm rear sway bar. I did. It mounted. They're good. Install was easy and straightforward. Took 30 minutes with sway bar install. I had access to lifts.
Iv read that when you upgrade to a 24mm sway bar it is recommended to upgrade the swaybar mounting bracket due to the possibility of the factory stock brackets failing due to the stiffer sway bar. That's is the exact situation that I ran into. So I went ahead and purchased the mounting brackets. The driver side installed with ease. The passenger side is alittle tight due to the charcoal Canister and the filler neck hoses for the gas tank. There is a plastic 'shield' that covers the hoses that is held in with a 10mm nut at the bottom and a 10mm bolt at the top that faces the inside of the wheel if you take those off and bend the plastic shield away it will give you alittle more room. I would recommend using a long 12mm ratching wrench and a ratchet with a wobble extension in order to uninstall and install the 12mm bolts that bolt the brackets to the vehicle. Make sure to read the instructions before installing pay attention to the "Reinforcement Rib" it needs to be facing towards the front of the vehicle as stated on the instructions. P.S Tighten the bracket bolts down evenly because if you tighten one of the 12mm bolts down all the way with the other being still loose it will create a bind on the loose bolt and it won't thread in. Be careful threading in the allen bolts into the gold bracket they are aluminum make sure everything is lined. When installing the silver 'U' brackets with the black bushings it helps if you use a jack or have a second person to push up on the middle of the sway bar so you can thread in the allen bolts. You want the vehicle to be at normal ride height when installing these brackets. Hope this helps might sound all over the place but once you get to installing them it will become clear. I installs these on a 2002 WRX Sedan.
Well engineered product excellent when combined with bar and links would recommend especially over RS standard equipment why this is not original for Subaru is a mistery as Subaru engineering is tops.
I installed these on my 2004 WRX Sedan. They fit really well and are definitely much more solid than the stock units. I installed these at the same time as my new 24mm sway bar. At first I put them on the wrong sides because they don't come marked with which side is which. (They just tell you that the side with the groove should point towards the back) but it wasn't that big of a deal to switch them. It all went together easily, and I instantly felt the difference on the first drive after install. WAY better than stock

A: Hello SonicYellow, We do not carry any upgraded sway bar mounts for the front of these vehicles as our development team did not foresee any benefit from re-designing this mount.

Q: Fitment on Forester? PavelAlexei199 years ago
Hi! Will this fit a 05 Forester dropped on STi suspension? Thanks!

A: These brackets should fit a Forester with STI suspension and a 24mm sway bar, but we cannot guarantee fitment. The Forester stock sway bar brackets hang lower than Impreza models and some modification may be required.
