Do not use the stock sway bar mounts, they WILL rip themselves out eventually if you upgrade to a bigger swaybar. These are cheap and GREAT quality. Whiteline does it again.
These replace the stock ones, and the right side one is a pain to install, but worth the trouble. I would recommend these, worth the money and pain to install that front bolt on the right one. They could have marked them right and left, but easy to figure out where they go once you get both stock ones out.
Installed the whiteline mounts while installing the eibach sway bar kit, these mounts are way beefier than the stock mounts, and not too expensive for piece of mind when upgrading sway bars. Last thing you want is a factory mount failing because of larger sway bars.
Bought these to replace some old aftermarket mounts and they're pretty solid. My car tripods less now than it did with the old mounts, so I think things are a little less stiff, which I actually like. My rear sway bar is not loud and annoying any more, and the car handles very well. Now I've just got to upgrade the front!

Q: 2004 Forester XT compatibility davejorr2 years ago
Are these mounts not the same dimension as would fit the 2004 forester? I've read everywhere that rear sway bar components are compatible between the 2004 STi and FXT. I'm trying to sort out the physical differences, but am not seeing any.

A: Whiteline does not list this part as fitting the Forester, they have a few other options, KSB18-24, KSB18-22 and KSB18-20

A: Yes, the 24mm sway bar would be too big for these 22mm mounts. We do have a set of 24mm sway bar mounts- Part Number- WHI KBR21-24. If you type that part number in the search bar above then it will display the 24mm mounts.
