Defeinitely worth it 10 years ago

I bought this with the adjustable Whiteline 24mm front sway bar for my 2002 WRX, but was only able to put the rear bar on first. I installed it on the soft setting, and while I wouldn't say that the performance improvement was immediately obvious, the car did handle a bit better. I drive on the turnpike to work everyday and once I was on the highway, it was readily apparent that the ride was much more smooth and stable at higher speeds. When combined with the 24mm front sway (both at soft settings), body roll and understeer have been significantly reduced. When the weather gets better I'll adjust them down to the hard setting and see how tight it handles, but for now I'm very happy. Install was super easy, but took a little patience to navigate over the muffler. Would definitely recommend.

Easy install, have on stiffest setting 10 years ago

Whiteline made the right length and it fits right up with kartboy endlinks. I have an '02 WRX with 24mm front and rear WL bars, front is non adjustable and rear is adjustable to stiffest setting (~25mm). AutoX is way more fun, and street driving is as well. Ride is stiff and comfort will be sacrificed. Not sure what the ride would be like if only had the F or only R installed but upgrade both if you have the coin.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: Mounts   DrewPat11 years ago

Would I be safe running this bar with the stock rear mounts or should I step down to the 22mm bar to retain the stock mounts?
      • 3 of 3 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Generally you can run this bar with the stock mounts just fine but we do recommend aftermarket endlinks. If you start doing heavy tracking and running stiff coilovers then you may run into issues with the stock mounts.
