Q: Lug nuts Subaru3 years ago
If I purchase the extended wheel studs, will I need to buy some new lug nuts as well (open lug nuts) or my gorilla lug nuts will work on them? Thanks

A: you will likely need some open ended or extended lug nuts, unless you're running a very thick spacer or something. Thanks!

Q: I think the answer is yes, but these fit a 2005 WRX Wagon? brandondrums570983 years ago
Not specifically listed in the fitment guide but given how identical the hub/brake setup is to WRX sedan I'd say yes. Basically I want to make sure I don't have to replace the hubs and bearings. Thanks!

Do these need to be pressed in?

A: These should be able to be tightened onto your hub with an open ended lug nut which is technically a way of pressing them in.

Q: 1996 Subaru Legacy Lsi Gc8man4 years ago
I see that a 96 Legacy Lsi is not on the list of fitment. I have a 2000 Impreza L that I converted to disc brakes in the back from a 96 Legacy Lsi. Can you advise on why these studs won't work? Thanks.

Q: Changing wheels PJ C5 years ago
If I have these studs installed on my 08 WRX STI hatchback, while running a 10mm spacer and want to change my wheels to a set where I will not need the spacers, can I still use these studs and will I need to get specific hardware in that situation?
-
-

1 people found the
following answer helpful
A: Depending on what kind of wheels you choose, you may need to use open-ended lug nuts for these to work.

Q: Which Open Ended Lug Nuts to Use w/ OEM Wheels? gmhl107 years ago
I have a 2013 STi Sedan (not Limited) with the OEM Enkei split 10-spoke wheel. Which open ended lug nuts can I use with the OEM wheels since tuner lugs are not recommended?
-
-
1 of
1 people found the
following answer helpful
A: We do not recommend running any aftermarket lug nuts on stock wheels. The lug taper on aftermarket lug nuts is 60 degrees, whereas the lug seat on the stock wheels is a smaller angle. The aftermarket lug nuts will not sit correctly in the lug seat, increasing the likelihood of the lug nut backing off the stud.

Q: Returns Bryce.Robinson7 years ago
Are these not returnable? I bought 4 packs and didn't end up needing them. I looked for the ability to return it in my order and could not find it. If they can't be returned it is a waste of $160.

A: These are able to be returned if you are inside of your 30 day purchase window, and they are not open. Feel free to log into your account and click on the invoice you purchased them on, and click return items.

Q: vibration corsettom20279128 years ago
Will these solve vibration issues in the steering wheel when running wider offset aftermarket rims? A tech at subaru said the only thing to be rid of the vibration was to run these...
-
-
0 of
0 people found the
following answer helpful
A: I have not heard of the studs helping with vibration so we can't guarantee it will fix your issue. These studs are longer and stronger than oem and will still be beneficial to use regardless.

Q: Lug nut recommendation edwardhwang516476638 years ago
So im planning on replacing all 20 studs on my 2011 sti with these and would like to purchase them from you. I would just like to ask which lug nuts you would recommend. Alot of people recommend project kics but i see you guys also carry greddy, volk, and muteki.
-
-

A: Lug nuts are going to be personal preference mostly. I do recommend getting extended lug nuts though. I personally love the Neo Chrome Project Kics, but its hard to go wrong with Greddy, Volk, and Muteki lug nuts.

Q: Rust? ShagginWagon4109 years ago
Since you have to use open lug nuts and I'm constantly changing my wheels, right now I have 3 sets, how is the durability of this? Will they rust?
-

A: We have never run into corrosion issues with these units. I personally have used them for years on different cars with not a single issue. They also are more durable then the stock units, and are less prone to breaking off.

will these work on my car with wheel spacers? im trying to put 9 inch wide rims on and need longer studs for some spacers

A: That all depends on the size of the spacers and the thickness of the hub on the wheel. We recommend doing some measurements and making sure your setup will fit. The Overall length of these studs is 3.
