If you’re looking for a reliable external wastegate that has been engineered, tested, and proven to give you reliable results, then you may want to consider a Tial unit. External wategates can endure extreme temperatures, and because of these reasons, the Tial unit has been crafted from fine alloy materials to provide the user with longevity they can depend on.
Boost can be controlled from two top ports, as well as three bottom ports. At just 3.7” tall, the Tial 38mm MVS wastegate is one of the most compact external wastegates on the market. This Tial unit will come supplied with all the springs, and some wastegates come provided with pre-installed springs installed by Tial, so you may want to verify which springs are installed before installing this part onto your car.

Ok first thing, the packaging was rock solid, props to Tial for that. The gate itself was a great piece and have had no issues with it at all. Only reason i gave it 4 stars is the v-band clamps they send you with are GARBAGE. Id prefer a standard v-band clamp over the weird ones that were sent. Still works great though.

Hands down my favorite performance mod ever to either of my subies. I absolutely love loudness, when my P&L quadtip and catless DP didn't satisfy me anymore this did the job. Puts a huge smile on my face every time this thing opens and I find myself giggling like a schoolgirl, I stuck with a EBCS because I like the sound of wastegate flutter rather than just open or closed you get with a hybrid MBCS setup

Installed the EWG with the Grimmspeed up-pipe in a couple of hours (drive on ramps aid in ease of access). Had the car tuned and it rockets to redline and max boost! Yes, this sound like you're taking off in a rocket, but potential threats will most likely wet themselves before messing with you!
2 weeks wg

I needs an EWG since my boost creep couldn't be tuned out in my 5th & 6th gears so I added this onto my GrimmSpeed up pipe and had it retuned along with a few other mods. I love the scream it makes when I go full throttle & I have no worries of over boosting. I build & hold boost better. If you don't like loud I'd suggest you reroute the dump tube back into your down pipe. I installed it my self in less than an hour with a jack, & simple hand tools.
Q: Tial 38mm wastegate Iker bermudez 3 months agoAnswer
I have an invidia upipe and a stock turbo, my car is not boosting all the way stops pushing around 11lbs , could it be the wastegate not opening? And also will this fit with the indvidia up pipe?
A: From what it sounds like is that your wastegate is only running wastegate pressure I would check all of the vacuum lines and boost lines.

Will this fit my 2004 wrx stock turbo if not what items will I need to make it fit?
A: You will need an uppipe with an external wastegate flange (like what Grimmspeed offers). You will also need a bracket to block off your stock internal wastegate. Keep in mind that you will also need a custom tune to run an external wastegate setup.

Will this fit on a stock turbo for a 2006 LGT?
A: This will not fit on the OEM turbocharger. OEM Subaru turbos use an internal wastegate. To use this you will need an uppipe with an external wastegate flange and other accessories.
