Target Boost 21.5psi achieved. The install was a MASSIVE pain in the a**, normally the SUPER helpful guide will walk you through it but there is literally NO help on adjusting the pre-load. Too lose and you will build 25LBS of boost and detonate your motor, too Tight and you wont build boost and the car will run like crap. You HAVE to have a boost target in mind for this thing to work, its not just a slap on modification, and it requires EXTENSIVE knowledge of your hand location or you will burn your fingers off on the heat shield. Install difficulty 7.5/10 Tuning Difficulty 9/10 Heat shield - Pain in the a**. Would not recommend to a standard focus enthusiast, race car drivers and serious modders only.
Install wasn't the easiest job in the world. Once installed and adjusted correctly this parr works great! Great turbo spool and much smoother boost. Car feels much faster with the new actuator.

A: It would be recommended to use a boost controller, either a manual unit or an electronic boost control solenoid.Nick S. @ RallySport Direct 5 years ago

A: In the manual that comes with the actuator, it tells you to adjust the pre-load of the nuts on the arm itself to around 2mm of pre-load. It's pretty close to this to get you back to factory specifications. Be careful, you can easily overboost if you adjust it with too much pre-load!Corby L. @ RallySport Direct 5 years ago
