Q: RPM limit with these springs? simon.gagnon17797 10 months agoAnswer
What is the maximum RPM limit with these spring and 272 cams?
A: It honestly depends on all of your modifications. I would consult a tuner/machine shop for exact ranges.

Q: High RPM vs Dual Valve w/ Retainers Demonik 4 years agoAnswer
Hello RSD Team, I was considering parts for my engine build and the springs were one of the components I was looking to replace. Would you please help me out with the following questions - 1. What is the difference between this and the COS1 KK3839? 2. Why would I not require replacing the retainers as well if I were replacing only these springs? 3. Would there be a possibility of buying and replacing the retainers as well along with these spring? Thanks guys!
A: These springs are made specifically for high RPM use and one spring will be used per valve. COS1 KK3839 uses two springs per valve and are more suitable for very aggressive cams. It is recommended, but not necessary to replace the stock retainers. We are able to special order Cosworth retainers separately, or you can use any stock replacement retainer.

Q: Beehive shape? Sasuke83 4 years agoAnswer
You said: Beehive shape allows use of original lightweight alloy retainer, but on the pictures it doesn't look like a beehive shape. Is it really a beehive shape (no way to find it on Cosworth website) or is it a classic helical shape? Thank you
