This is the Killer B Turbo Reservoir made for the EJ platform. This reservoir has been designed to utilize the OEM high-point location to eliminate air getting trapped in the system, along with the same mounting points and even the Subaru filler cap. This reservoir will maintain a proper cooling system function and more importantly provides enough clearance for those of you with rotated turbo setups. Additionally, when compared to the OEM unit, the Killer B replacement is much more aesthetically pleasing.

    Killer B still hasn't posted my review there, so I'll write quick review here too! I read the instructions a few times before attempting the install. All looked real easy. Maybe an hour at the most. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Here are my suggestions in bullet point format: - DO NOT buy a cheap set of silicone hoses to replace your OEM hoses "while you're in there". Instead, buy the proper hoses from a dealer, using the site to get a better deal than just calling in. You might as well replace the PCV wiggly worm hose while you're doing this job. - DO NOT use the short fitting that goes on the lower portion to in between the manifold runners. Instead, get yourself a 90 for that and use a straight piece of hose. - Get a cheap pair of spring clamp pliers. The ones that have the long cable extension will not reach in between the manifold, so bypass that one (for this job). And as for the install: I had to shift my harness on the other side of the fuel regulator, and the bottom of this reservoir goes RIGHT where the harness runs beside the head. This may not be a big deal for someone with an aftermarket fuel rail, but I'm still running stock for now, so my 18 year old harness isn't really feeling as pliable as it did 10-15 years ago. Be careful and don't force anything. You'll want to verify any potential vacuum leaks while you have hoses off and are messing around. I found that removing my intercooler made getting to the S shaped hose on the back of the reservoir much easier, plus it gives you easier access to that vacuum hose there as well. All in all, if you have the right tools and hoses WHEN YOU START, this job would likely only take that 30 minutes to an hour I expected. Killer B made a cool product, but it either needs some refinement, or they weren't expecting stock-world use or something. No clue. Love the look, but it was a total of three days with my car down waiting on hoses. And the way the lower hose pinches does not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. This is a solid three stars. The tin says it just drops in, but it absolutely does not on my 2005 USDM WRX. If I can come back later and add pictures to this, I will do so.
