      I will be purchasing this to swap out my current turbo with bad bearings etc. correct me if I am wrong, no tune is necessary ?

        A:  Hey, good question. As long as you had a VF39 on the car before, this will be a 100% direct bolt on and will not require any tuning. Just bolt on and go! Also make sure you get the upper uppipe gasket as well as a new downpipe gasket. It's also a good time to inspect the condition of the turbo inlet hose if it's stock as they tend to swell and crack where it connects to the turbo. Let us know if you have any questions!

      was wondering if this would be a replacement turbo for a 06 wrx TR model? what are the differences between my current stock oem turbo and this vf39? will I need any other supporting mods? currently the car had full turbo back exhaust and intake. plan on going in for a pro tune in the next few weeks and am trying to button up all the maintenance pieces before. thank you!

        A:  You will need, a fuel pump, possibly injectors, and a protune.

        A:  This would be a direct drop in physically, but it would require modifications to the fuel system, exhaust, and custom tuning.

      If i'm doing a direct turbo swap on my 2005 STi with a blown turbo. What gaskets do i need to do a direct swap or does this come with all the required pieces to do a swap? I know the downpipe and up-pipe would be the 2 most obvious. But is there a package i can get?

        A:  The only gaskets needed are the up pipe gasket and down pipe gasket, I have listed the two part numbers below. Turbo to down pipe: GRM 028001 Up pipe to turbo: GRM 024001
