When it comes to aftermarket turbochargers for this particular platform, Blouch Performance Turbo is among one of the more popular choices among enthusiasts because they are built using careful manufacturing methods to produce a more powerful direct bolt-in option. On this page, you are looking at their TD06H-20G XT-R 10cm2 Billet Ball Bearing Turbocharger.

Investing in a larger turbo as well as supporting mods is one of the best power upgrades you could buy. Blouch is the leader in turbo development; they consistently build the best turbos. The new XT-R line of turbos from Blouch consists of a billet compressor wheel to optimize the aerodynamics of a turbo and increase compressor flow within the same inducer geometry.

This allows you to build more horsepower at lower boost pressure.

It also consists of a 48 lb/min fully machined billet compressor wheel, a high-efficiency Garrett GT turbine wheel, Garrett GT full ball bearing system, adjustable upgrade wastegate actuator calibrated at 19 PSI and a 10cm2 bolt on turbine housing.

The larger turbine housing reduces turbine inlet pressure and increases peak horsepower output.

Included with this turbocharger will be the coolant and oil drain pipes, along with a stainless steel oil feed line along with new gaskets and hardware to make this turbocharger ready for the installation.

  • Q: 2004 STi requirements  Marc 5 months ago

Just need to finalize everything before I purchase a turbo. I have in my car installed grimmspeed TMIC with pipes, 1050cc ID Injectors, IAG fuel rails, IAG fuel lines, Aero Fuel Regulator, Cobb exhaust, Perrin Up Pipe, Catted Downpipe, Killer Bee Oil Pick Up Tube, K&N typhoon intake, mishimoto rockstar turbo inlet, Perrin Equal Length Headers, walboro fuel pump, Grimmspeed AOS, TGV deletes, Grimmspeed Boost Solenoid, Cobb V3, ARP head studs...etc I believe I have all the supporting mods to have this turbo. My VF39 is leaking oil but very little. I want to replace it before it goes out. What else do I need to get this turbo?

    • A: Sounds like you have all the correct supporting mods. You should be fine running this turbo with a custom tune.

I have Full exhaust, GS TMIC, Fuel Pump, ID 1700, GS Boost controller, intake, inlet. Im basically stage 3 according to Cobb's site. How much HP could i get out of this turbo on e85? I just bought one so i'm just wondering.

    • A: You should be able to get around 400whp with this turbo. Possibly more with a built motor and more boost. Factors such as elevation will also make quite a bit of difference.

would this be a direct bolt on swap out from the stock turbo? 2011 STi

    • A: This is a direct bolt on stock location turbocharger but supporting modifications are required.

  • Q: tvg deletes required?  ratboy399514516 4 years ago

I have a 2014 WRX with a PW TMIC and suporting mods. Do I have to delete the TVG's or can I just get the adapter pipe and go with it?

    • A: TGV deletes are not necessary with this turbo and they are generally only needed for 3 inch inlet turbos because the 3 inch inlet hose would contact the rear TGV sensor. You will also need the Process West Traditional Turbo Upgrade Hose for your PW TMIC.

  • Q: Does it fit  Kappzilla 5 years ago

So im going off of Nativ3 Rag3's question. I have a 13 wrx stock TMIC. Description says 2002-2007 WRX / 2004-2013 STI. Now the other guys has a 12 and was told it fit. Will this work for me and if yes anything needed to make it fit. thanks

    • A: This turbo is not a direct replacement for your stock turbo and will not work with the stock intercooler. In order to install this turbo you would need a Process West TMIC and traditional turbo upgrade hose or a different intercooler that is compatible with conventional style turbos.
