The Blouch TD05H-16GXT is a perfect turbo for someone looking to have a turbo that will spool similar to a stock turbo but wanting to receive the benefits of the quick response of the TD05H turbine and efficient 16G compressor wheel, with the both of these it would be perfect for someone looking for about 350 HP on their WRX or STI.

Other features include a standard wastegate actuator that is calibrated at 18 PSI, and this particular turbocharger will come with a ceramic coated exhaust housing for extra protection against heat and corrosion.

From start to finish great service. Online chat for an hour from support guys. Answered all my questions, very helpful. Turbo arrived in once piece. As for the turbo it's spool feels like the vf35, but got me 390hp on motor at 397ftlb torque. Car runs header, full exhaust, water meth. Full boost at 3500rpm

Great Turbo

I replaced a very well used and old TD05-16g with this Blouch turbo, and I am very happy with the results(I also upgraded the up pipe at the same time). Turbo response greatly increased, runs smoother and better mpg. Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy upgrade. Install took me a few hours to do turbo, up pipe and other various things.

  • Q: Rotate compressor hosing   Nick 2 months ago

I’ve got a 2011 WRX with a Grimmspeed Top Mount. Is there a way to rotate the compressor housing about 45 degrees, counter clockwise? This would allow a more direct route to the inter cooler, rather than run a WRX specific turbo

What size injectors should I be using with this turbo? I bought the 1500cc injectors and they are just dumping fuel

    • A: It is recommended to consult your tuner for injector questions.

I've got an 04 STI running a Cobb stage 2 setup with an invidia turboback. Outside of a tune do I need anything else right off the bat to run this turbo?

    • A: We recommend upgrading your injectors and you will want to get the Blouch Oil Feed line.

My 2002 WRX wagon is completely stock and my turbo is going out. i'd like to get a power upgrade but I dont want to upgrade any other parts in my car. will this turbo work for me? if not, any suggstions?

    • A: Any aftermarket turbo will require at least an upgraded exhaust, fuel pump and fuel injectors and a tune.

    • A: If you aren't wanting to do anything but a turbo to your car, I'd just pick up a good, used stock turbo. Unfortunately, upgrading just the turbo would not net much gain. The quickest route for noticeable (safe) power would be a good downpipe and a tune, both of which would be cheaper than this turbo. Also, if you still have the stock uppipe on your WRX, make it a priority to get rid of it and replaced with a catless uppipe, either aftermarket or factory STi. I would never spend $1k on a turbo and still have the factory catted uppipe. There are numerous stories of people's stock uppipe cat failing and sending metal bits into the turbo. If you want to run this turbo properly, upgrade fuel injectors and fuel pump, which is not that expensive. You can run OEM STi of both. With your aftermarket downpipe and a tune, you'd be making some very nice, safe, reliable power. An STi intercooler is recommended, but I don't know how essential it is.

I'm looking for a turbo upgrade for my 05 Baja. Just wondering what injectors are suggested for this turbo. Thanks
