    This turbo was recommended by my tuner to hold more boost up top. Got tuned last week and I’m absolutely thrilled with the performance of it. It’s just a tad bit laggy compared to the stock TD04 on the EJ205, but man, it hits like a freight train @22psi when it comes on and holds strong all the way to redline. This turbo really begins to shine at 18psi or higher. It’s a lot quieter than the TD04 during normal driving, with a deeper sound when spoiling up. Great service from the guys here at Rallysport like always and it was shipped the same day. Extremely happy with purchase.

    From start to finish great service. Online chat for an hour from support guys. Answered all my questions, very helpful. Turbo arrived in once piece. As for the turbo it's spool feels like the vf35, but got me 390hp on motor at 397ftlb torque. Car runs header, full exhaust, water meth. Full boost at 3500rpm

    I replaced a very well used and old TD05-16g with this Blouch turbo, and I am very happy with the results(I also upgraded the up pipe at the same time). Turbo response greatly increased, runs smoother and better mpg. Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy upgrade. Install took me a few hours to do turbo, up pipe and other various things.

    • Q: Good for stock rods/pistons/crank?  Tvd2506 months ago

      Besides up pipe, injectors, fuel pump, tube, would this require forged internals on an ej205. I do a little rallycross so tend to somewhat push my car.

        A:  It would depend on your pro tune, other power modifications, and your maintenance intervals on the vehicle. But if it sees competition use, I would recommend going for forged internals to be on the safe side.

      Engine built (pistons, rods, valves, springs, retainers) + a tune, can I run this turbo without any issues ? or do i need to upgrade fuel system?

        A:  I would consult your tuner for their opinion before buying, but I would recommend an upgraded fuel pump and injectors around 750cc to run this turbo, or 1000cc for E85.

      I’ve got the GrimmSpeed top mount in my 2011 WRX, with the position of the inlet to the top mount, it would be much better if I could run a turbo they had the compressor outlet at 12 o’clock or even 1 o’clock. Would I be able to rotate this compressor housing? And maybe build a bracket for the waste gate accuator?

        A:  You would be able to rotate the compressor housing, although I would recommend checking with Blouch to see how this affects your warranty.       I’ve got a 2011 WRX with a Grimmspeed Top Mount. Is there a way to rotate the compressor housing about 45 degrees,counter clockwise? This would allow a more direct route to the inter cooler, rather than run a WRX specific turbo

        A:  Yes, you can rotate the compressor housing on this turbo. You can remove the bolts on the back of the housing and then rotate it to where you need. You will also have to undo the actuator arm and bracket and bolt it back in when the compressor housing has been rotated to where you like.
