  • Q: Fitment issues?  alexual24 days ago

Will this turbo have any fitment issues in its stock location form like the FP Zero where you have to shave a little off the block to get it to fit?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  No, but it is an incredibly tight fit with the 3inch inlet, so aftermarket TGV housings would be required along with a 3inch turbo inlet hose. Thanks!

  • Q: Engine Mods  Ruby1 year ago

I have a 2017 STI and i was wondering what mods would i need to run this turbo? I have intake, GS Downpipe, GS up-pipe, Flex Fuel kit, E-85 fuel pump, GFB BPV, TGV deletes, GS TMIC, 1050x injectors, pressure regulator kit.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You'll want to do a built short block and up your injector size to about 1700-2000cc, I'd say a minimum of a 450lph fuel pump setup as well. However, there are a ton of variables based on power goals, budget, fuel, etc. You can give us a call at 888-457-2559 for more specific questions regarding your setup.

  • Q: Will this work?  C.Dugz4 years ago

I have a Subaru WRX 2015 with a stock engine, will this work in my car? If not then what turbo would be the best performance for my car?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This turbo is rated for 600hp+ and will not work well with your stock engine. You can choose a turbo based on your power goals.

    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  I would go with a Dom 4.0 for your set up it would give you the best powerband coming on line fairly fast.

  • Q: with a adapter  freimark6373844136 years ago

will i be able to clear the tgv's if i use a 3 to 2.4 step down adapter and a standard subaru 2.4 short ram spt intake? i understand this will somewhat restrict the air flow due to the smaller inlet adaptor.
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We do recommend doing the TGV deletes. It could be possible to run it this way but essentially you would be hindering the capabilities of this turbo by using a smaller inlet.

  • Q: 2011 sti   sky_C6 years ago

2011 sti stock engine can handle this turbo??? i looking for 480-500whp,the stock engine can handle??? or do i need to rebuild???
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The stock motor is not capable of sustaining that power level. You would need to build the motor to be able to utilize a turbo of this size.

will this turbo work with this GRM 059002 uppipe?
  • Q: Tvg delete Wrx sti 2008  Michell Lopez6 years ago

I do not understand why I need to remove my tvg in the Wrx sti 2008. tvg clearly in models does not interfere with anything. The tvg machine is in the front.
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  For most 3 inch turbo inlet hoses you need to remove the turbo side TGV sensor for proper clearance. The motor on the front of the TGV is usually not a problem, but the sensor on the rear of the housing can interfere. For a turbo this large TGV deletes are recommended in order to get the full potential from the turbo.

is this turbo a direct bolt on for my 2002 wrx?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It will mount in the factory location however this turbo will require a 3" turbo inlet and TGV deletes.
