When it comes to aftermarket turbochargers for this particular platform, Blouch Performance Turbo is among one of the more popular choices among enthusiasts because they are built using careful manufacturing methods to produce a more powerful direct bolt-in option. On this page, you are looking at their Blouch Dominator 5.0 XT-R 10cm2 Turbocharger. 

Investing in a larger turbo as well as supporting mods is one of the best power upgrades you could buy. Blouch is the leader in turbo development; they consistently build the best turbos. The new XT-R line of turbos from Blouch consists of a billet compressor wheel to optimize the aerodynamics of a turbo and increase compressor flow within the same inducer geometry. This allows you to build more horsepower at lower boost pressure.

Complimenting this new technological advancement is a 65 lb/min fully machined billet compressor wheel, a high-efficiency Garrett GT turbine wheel, Garrett GT full ball bearing system and their new 10cm2 bolt on turbine housing. The 5.0XT-R is a 35R based Turbo with a billet 65lb per min compressor wheel and is rated for up to 620 HP with supporting modifications. 

NOTE: The Dominator 5.0XT-R is a bolt-on upgrade which requires a 3" inlet, TGV deletes, external wastegate uppipe and requires no modification to oil feed, oil drain, coolant or exhaust connections for installation.

Included with this turbocharger will be the coolant and oil drain pipes, along with a stainless steel oil feed line along with new gaskets and hardware to make this turbocharger ready for the installation.

Awesome turbo. It spools fast and pulls like crazy. Great quality. Fitment is amazing. I run 470whp and 437wtq on 91 with it as my daily driver. I have 20,000 miles on it so far and its still like new! Worth every penny!

    I have a Subaru WRX 2015 with a stock engine, will this work in my car? If not then what turbo would be the best performance for my car?

      A:  This turbo is rated for 600hp+ and will not work well with your stock engine. You can choose a turbo based on your power goals.

    which one do you recommend for a better powerband, dom 5 or dom 4 for my STI? mods that I have: pistons and rods fmic tial ewg and bov id1000 tomei header upgraded fuel pump intake and inlet 3"

      A:  I would go with a Dom 4.0 for your set up it would give you the best powerband coming on line fairly fast.

    will i be able to clear the tgv's if i use a 3 to 2.4 step down adapter and a standard subaru 2.4 short ram spt intake? i understand this will somewhat restrict the air flow due to the smaller inlet adaptor.

      A:  We do recommend doing the TGV deletes. It could be possible to run it this way but essentially you would be hindering the capabilities of this turbo by using a smaller inlet.
