When it comes to aftermarket turbochargers for this particular platform, Blouch Performance Turbo is among one of the more popular choices among enthusiasts because they are built using careful manufacturing methods to produce a more powerful direct bolt-in option. On this page, you are looking at their Blouch Dominator 4.0 XT-R 10cm2 Ceramic Coated Turbocharger. 

Investing in a larger turbo as well as supporting mods is one of the best power upgrades you could buy. Blouch is the leader in turbo development; they consistently build the best turbos. The new XT-R line of turbos from Blouch consists of a billet compressor wheel to optimize the aerodynamics of a turbo and increase compressor flow within the same inducer geometry. This allows you to build more horsepower at lower boost pressure.

It also consists of a 60 lb/min fully machined billet compressor wheel, a high-efficiency Garrett GT turbine wheel, Garrett GT full ball bearing system, adjustable upgrade wastegate actuator calibrated at 19 PSI and Blouch's new 10cm2 bolt on turbine housing. rated for 600 HP with supporting modifications. 

The larger turbine housing reduces turbine inlet pressure and increases peak horsepower output.

NOTE: The Dominator 4.0XT-R is a bolt-on upgrade which requires a 3" inlet, TGV deletes and requires no modification to oil feed, oil drain, coolant or exhaust connections for installation.

Only got to use it for a few months. Made 380whp on 21psi (didn't want to push the stock block). With my EWG setup it held peak boost all the way to redline. -2006 STI

2011 sti limited built .. Mine went bad at 700 miles and they don't stand behind their warranty I would not buy this product it broke on a break in tune at 15psi such a joke.. Wish I could put -10 stars

2011 sti built pushin 25psi on pump gas makin over 500whp easy all day kicks in about 3500rpm not much lag like you would think in a bigger turbo you have to have an upgraded fuel system 3 in inlet tgv deletes to run this

    Which turbo has a better/faster spool time، 4 xtr or gtx3576r?

      A:  It would depend on your setup and tune, but as a general guideline, this will spool slightly faster than a GTX3576R, but does flow slightly less air. The design is actually somewhat similar, as many of the components in the Dom 4.0 are Garrett products. I would recommend checking on forums or dyno databases for setups similar to your with each turbo before making your decision between the two.

      A:  1300cc injectors should compliment this turbo nicely and give you head room if you wanted to run E85.

    I have a 2005 sti fully upgraded engine, headers, 750cc injectors, 3'' exhaust, front mount, boost controllers, ect... Do you think this turbo would work the best with my subi?

      A:  This depends on a few things like the power goals for your vehicle and the type of fuel you plan to run. The 750cc injectors are a bit small for this turbocharger and larger is required. Other changes like a 3 inlet, TGV deletes, and fuel system modifications would be recommended.
