The Blouch Dominator 3.5XT-R is their new state-of-the-art 58lb/min fully machined billet "XT-R" compressor wheel in their own 3" inlet bellmouth compressor housing with a Garrett GT full ball bearing system, a high-efficiency Garrett GT turbine wheel and the new Blouch 10cm2 turbine housing.

So what's the big deal? The new Blouch XT-R billet compressor wheels are simply amazing and outperform traditional compressor wheel aero by producing more horsepower and torque at lower boost pressures. Born and bred in racing development, the Garrett GT turbine and ball bearing system are the mainstay of turbocharger performance. And the new Blouch 10cm2 turbine housing reduces turbine inlet pressure and engine pumping losses to free up additional torque and horsepower. (These turbine housings work so well that customers have bolted them onto their competitor's turbos and significantly increased torque and horsepower). The big deal is a stock location bolt-on upgrade Subaru turbocharger using state-of-the-art technology that supports 580 horsepower efficiently with fitment that is unparalleled in the industry. NOTE: The Dominator 3.5XT-R is a bolt-on upgrade that requires a 3in inlet. Blouch Turbo requires TGV deletes to be used with this turbo and strongly recommends an external gate to achieve maximum performance. Rated for 580 HP with supporting modifications. 

Included with this turbocharger will be the coolant and oil drain pipes, along with a stainless steel oil feed line along with new gaskets and hardware to make this turbocharger ready for the installation.

3.5xtr turbo STI 2 years ago

I've had the 3.5xtr turbo with supporting mods on my 2017 STI for a year now. Full boost at 4k rpm. 400whp on 91 Oct and 450whp on e85. Easily will put down 500whp with this turbo with a better fuel pump. Get this turbo or bigger if you want real power.

    Will I be able to power this turbo at full capacity using Cobb 1050 injectors and AEM 340 lph using pump gas + methanol? Also what kind of HP gain over a Cobb 20g would this provide assuming all supporting mods are utilized.

      A:  Yes, 1050cc Fuel Injectors and 340lpb fuel pump would support the power output of this turbo with a professional tune. This turbo is rated for 580HP, whereas Cobb's 20g is rated for 400HP.

  • Q: Forge Wastegate and CHRA.  Justinxecushyn1 year ago

    For greater wastegate force (for higher boost), would an upgraded IWG actuator (Forge with stiffer spring) be advised with this turbo? Also is the CHRA on the GEN II platform? Supporting mods are there (Built motor, built heads with GSC S1 cams, fueling with 1700cc, etc). Would this turbo be a good fit on e85 to reach 500+ hp?

      A:  500 HP at the crank on that setup should be easy on E85. 500 WHP would depend on the dyno and be a fair bit tougher, but it's been done. Ideally, an external wastegate setup would be best shooting for that kind of power though. The CHRA is an in-house design from Blouch, but would be most closely comparable to Gen 2, since it's a ceramic ball bearing setup.

  • Q: Which Wastegate to Use?  04FXT2 years ago

    I have a built engine (forged rods/pistons, closed deck, stage 2 bc cams, +1mm intake/exhaust valves) and am looking for a stock location turbo. I have KillerB headers going to a grimmspeed up-pipe with 38mm ewg attaching point. For ~450 awhp (on 93) would it be necessary to upgrade to a 44mm wastegate? Or will the 38mm one be sufficient enough?
