When it comes to aftermarket turbochargers for this particular platform, Blouch Performance Turbo is among one of the more popular choices among enthusiasts because they are built using careful manufacturing methods to produce a more powerful direct bolt-in option. On this page, you are looking at their Blouch Dominator 3.0XT-R 10cm2 Twin Scroll JDM Turbocharger.

Investing in a larger turbo as well as supporting mods is one of the best power upgrades you could buy. Blouch is the leader in turbo development; they consistently build the best turbos. The new XT-R line of turbos from Blouch consists of a billet compressor wheel to optimize the aerodynamics of a turbo and increase compressor flow within the same inducer geometry.

This allows you to build more horsepower at lower boost pressure.

It also consists of a 55 lb/min fully machined billet compressor wheel, a high-efficiency Garrett GT turbine wheel, Garrett GT full ball bearing system, adjustable upgrade wastegate actuator calibrated at 15 PSI and with their new 10cm2 bolt on turbine housing. Rated up to 550 HP with supporting modifications. 

The larger turbine housing reduces turbine inlet pressure and increases peak horsepower output.

Included with this turbocharger will be the coolant and oil drain pipes, along with a stainless steel oil feed line along with new gaskets and hardware to make this turbocharger ready for the installation.

This twin scroll turbo requires a twin scroll header, uppipe, downpipe and cat back. None of the listed items will cross over with a non-factory twin scroll car.

Finally got the 3.0 Twin Scroll installed, and it is nothing short of an amazing turbo. Paired with Tomei twin scroll equal length exhaust manifold, and an Invidia 3" exhaust (with twin scroll turbo flange), full boost is achieved by 3000 RPM! Currently running it at 18 PSI on an stock EJ257, power output is strong and builds all the way to redline. Current estimate at 18PSI is around 330-340 WHP. So much potential left on tap! Very broad power curve with a lot of area under it. Very happy with choice.

    so if I were to order this turbo where exactly can I find the JDM parts necessary to run this?

      A:  We do carry the twin scroll manifold however, we do not carry the correct downpipe for this turbo and we have not been able to find anywhere to source these.

    I see you carry Tomei twin scroll headers. Would the Cobb downpipe and exhaust be sufficient for a twin scroll. Do you carry all the necessary parts to complete a twin scroll changeover?

      A:  To convert to a TS you must run a specific TS downpipe. At this time there is no US spec TS downpipe and would require a purchase of JDM spec downpipe and catback complete the conversion. At this time we do not have TS downpipes

      A:  If you are changing from single scroll to twin scroll, then you will need a twin scroll header, uppipe and downpipe. For almost any upgraded turbo it is recommended to upgrade the intake, exhaust, fuel system and get a custom tune. The upgrades will also depend on which turbo you choose and please contact us for more information about supporting mods.

    does this require you to rotate the turbo or can you leave it as is? I'm currently running the dom 2.5 and i thought it was as big as you could go without rotating

      A:  This will be a stock location turbo, no rotating needed, but this one in particular is a twin scroll model so it will require you to us a twin scroll manifold and uppipe.

      A:  This turbo will be a stock location turbo, However this particular model is the JDM twin scroll version so it will require you to us a twin scroll header, uppipe, downpipe, and catback. In order for you to run this turbo it would have to be factory twin scroll car. We do have the non twin scroll Dom 3.0 that will fit your vehicle. Search this part number on our site and it should bring you right to it! BLC DOM3.0XTR
