When it comes to aftermarket turbochargers for this particular platform, Blouch Performance Turbo is among one of the more popular choices among enthusiasts because they are built using careful manufacturing methods to produce a more powerful direct bolt-in option. On this page, you are looking at their Blouch Dominator 2.5XT-R 10cm2 Turbocharger.

Investing in a larger turbo as well as supporting mods is one of the best power upgrades you could buy. Blouch is the leader in turbo development; they consistently build the best turbos. The new XT-R line of turbos from Blouch consists of a billet compressor wheel to optimize the aerodynamics of a turbo and increase compressor flow within the same inducer geometry.

All of this combined with Garrett GT turbine and full ball bearing technology to produce a complete bolt-on package that includes stainless steel turbo oil feed line and steel oil drain tube and coolant lines. Adjustable upgrade actuator is standard issue on the XT-R "Polka Pickle" and is pre-calibrated to operate at 15 PSI unless otherwise specified. Rated for 490 crank horsepower with supporting mods, it is a great modification for those looking for more power and performance.

Note that this particular turbocharger will come with a 3-inch inlet, and it will also come supplied with both coolant and oil drain pipes already installed. Additionally, an oil feed line, new hardware, as well as a new downpipe and up pipe gasket will be included to make this turbocharger ready for the installation.

I can't tell you how it is by its self. I bought it to with a full list of of other great things I wanted at the same time. The one thing g can say it sounds like a beast trying to eat my whole motor. Just make sure you have good air flow to it.

I haven't had a chance to drive my car with this turbo installed just yet. Due to the fact my car is in the shop getting rebuilt. Now as far as shipping, time of reserving part, and customer service. That was all on point. Every happy with it. Everything was in the box and turbo was just as it looks in the picture. For sure order more stuff from Rallysport.

Best Stock Location Turbo... Ever!!

Had this turbo on for about a year now! Made some crazy jam; 406whp & 385wtq @ 20.5psi (pump gas 94oct) on a low reading dyno and in 30 degree celsius temperatures! My tuner and mechanic estimate that it'll make 430whp on a roller dyno (i was tuned on dyna packs reading 5% lower due to some issues with one of them) However, I have all of the supporting mods plus a lot of custom work. I can easily see 380+whp with supporting mods, a stock header and a well built motor! The "Polka Pickle" is the way to go with any EJ257! P.S For more power, go EWG!

Amazing turbo! great quality 3 10cm is the way to go. AMR inlet has poor fitment with 3'adapter. If you want to get RAD buy this you wont be disappointed the first time you pull on the freeway after your tune. Im running this on a 2006 sti speed density, 1000cc injectors, water/meth, FMIC...ect. made 380whp 400tq on a mustang dyno on a 24psi mild tune. Much more left in the polka-pickle

Is this turbo okay to run with a stock sti motor and supporting mods? Want to run this but not to it’s full potential until I build The motor. Only trying to do it this way bc I didnt Want to buy the 1.5 for the stock motor then buy another 2.5 for the built motor, feel as if it would be a waste of money when I can Just try and run the 2.5 but to a minimal until the motor gets built. Had originally planned on running the 3.0xtr however issues have come to where I needed my car running ASAP. Supporting mods include, Headers, Downpipe, Uppipe, EWG, Exhaust, EBCS, Front Mount Intercooler, 1050cc Injectors, Top Feed Fuel Rails, TGV deletes, Fuel pump, & Intake

    • A: With the stock motor, we do not recommend using this turbo. In theory, this turbo will function perfectly with stock block however you will need to have the car tuned extremely conservative in order to not cause any internal damage.

Are TGV deletes required to install the 3" inlet version of this turbo?

    • A: In order to install the 3 inch inlet required for this turbo, TGV deletes will be needed to gain extra clearance.

I have supporting mods ELH,EWG uppipe, downpipe, exhaust 1000cc injectors, pump, TMIC, EBC (2014 WRX) other than the 3in turbo inlet would I need anything els? I was under the impression this turbo used a different hose or line of some sort to work with the WRX or is the 3in turbo inlet the only needed part?

    • A: You will either need a traditional intercooler upgrade hose for this turbo, or change to an STI style intercooler and manifold. If you have further questions with the fitment of this turbo on your vehicle please contact our customer service department.

I was curious if I would get a lot of lag if I'm just shooting for 320whp I have all supporting mods just don't have forged pistons that's the reason for being conservative with power goals

    • A: This would have a later spool compared to your stock turbo. If you are wanting 320hp, you should look into the Dom 1.5

  • Q: Turbo blanket/heat shield.  Clarence 3 years ago

Just curious which Turbo blanket or heat shield would suit this turbo the best?

    • A: Any heatshield or turbo blanket that we offer for the stock turbo will work well for this turbo.
