Here, you are looking at the ATP Turbo GTX3071 Turbocharger. This is a ball-bearing turbo that is quite possibly the fastest spooling and most responsive 450+HP capable turbo on the planet now available in a drop-in package for your application. The easy to implement turbo assembly that takes no more than 1-2 hours to install in place of the stock journal bearing VFXX unit is made possible by a high flowing GT inspired ATP exhaust housing and a series of custom-engineered components built to suit the installation.

DETAILS:

  • Each GTX drop-in turbo package consists of a Garrett factory assembled and high speed balanced dual-ball bearing CHRA which is then assembled into a set of CNC machine ported housings that have been optimized in every aspect for maximum flow and efficiency
  • All accompanying oil and coolant supply components included in each kit have been designed to properly and seamlessly bridge the Garrett GTX turbo to the EJ engine so that the fit is as OE as possible
  • New high flowing 11-blade next generation compressor wheel
  • Just bolt the turbo on, add fueling and a good tune and prepare for a blast of acceleration
  •  Garrett GTX turbos offer more than just "peak HP" numbers and offer more torque area under the curve and more "accessible" power than any other turbos series out there
  • Includes 3" inlet as well as a "stepdown" sleeve just in case you're forced to use the stock 2.25" inlet hose
  • Ideal for those who want to make 450 HP with supporting modifications
  • Includes a spacer

  • A downpipe and bigger inlet is critical for reaching peak efficiency on the GT turbo
  • 2 up-pipe gaskets will be needed if using the included spacer

    Doesn't fit really easy. I need to cut the intercooler support because the wastegate doesn't pass with it in place and I need to grind a nut to fit the up-pipe to the turbo. The rest is ok.

      Please tell me about the turbine: what are the inducer and exducer dimensions? What is the housing A/R, and what is the turbine's alloy? Has the hot side housing been smoothed of casting imperfections? Are there variations offered for the above? Thanks!

      Since this turbo doesn't have the compressor boost nipple, where do you connect the wastegate t-tubing to? do we need to drill the compressor and add a separate nipple. the vf turbos, blouch and others have the compressor nipple. thanks!

        A:  No need to drill. The kit is provided with a quick tap and silicone elbow. The quick tap will be installed onto the elbow and will be your boost source.

        A:  We cannot confirm this turbo to work with a divorced downpipe, it is recommended to use a bellmouth downpipe.
