Q: Spool Time vs Other 65 lb Turbos Chris3 years ago
How is the spool of this turbo compared to a dom 5.0 or GTX3076R / 3576R? Out of these turbos which will spool faster?

A: The 65lb/min old school red model is not the most fast spooling turbo in the FP lineup in 2020. This turbo was one of the first hybrid turbos they built for the Subaru platform and was first built-in the 2005 period. It has been a staple of the Subaru turbo market ever since, but something with a smaller turbine wheel like a GT30 would spool a little faster. In the FP lineup the Blue model is about the fastest spooling turbo possible, and it still allows for 500whp with the right build.
