  • Q: fitment 08 legacy spec B  hunt3 months ago

i know a legacy isn't listed but shouldn't it work just fine?
  • Q: Stock Airbox  teppey2 years ago

Does it fit the stock air box?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The turbo inlet hose does not connect to the airbox and would be attached to the turbo on one end, and connects up with the air intake section before the MAF housing, before the airbox.

  • Q: perrin 3" turbo inlet hose  tony2tone4 years ago

I have a turbo wuth a 82mm inlet wich requires a 84mm inlet hose or coupler. Will the perrin 3" hose stretch enough to fit over the turbo inlet ?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We wouldn't be able to confirm if the Perrin will stretch enough to fit, this is confirmed for 3" turbo inlets.

  • Q: Pcv  skeeshwrx696285 years ago

I'm switching from my Perrin 2.4 to the 3inch for my new turbo. I see that the pcv inlet that is right before the turbo on the 2.4 model is not there on this one. Do you have to T that of into another breather line?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The PCV inlet at that location is for the Crank Case. If you run the 3, you would at that point need to T the Heads and the crank together to run into another one of the PCV ports.

Are tgv deletes required to run this inlet?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Removal of the TGV sensors, TGV motors and butterfly valves in the TGVs are necessary in order to make clearance for inlet hose on passenger side of motor.

A:  I think he might be asking if he needs to run a TGV delete kit in order to properly run this inlet, which he does not. I don't think he's referring to the install process.

A:  The passenger side TGV motor is not compatible with this inlet and needs to be permanently removed for clearance reasons.

A:  this is from highly reputable tuner, TopSpeed: the 3 inlet will clear the factory TGV motors on the 2008+ STi's but not the 2004-07 STi's.

A:  According to Perrin's instructions you are right about 2007+ models not needing TGV deletes. 07 models do not need to deal with removing TGV motors, and sensors. The newer cars have them built into one part.

  • Q: stock turbo  cfbasset1797686 years ago

will this fit stock turbo? i want to be sure i have the option to upgrade turbo later on. thanks
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This is a 3 inlet where the stock inlet is 2.4, so it would NOT work on the factory turbo. For a stock turbo you need a 2.4 inlet

Will this work with the Cobb intake hose without any fitment issues?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Should be no issues as this is a direct factory replacement component in regards to how it works with such components as the intake tube.
