Mishimoto Silicone Induction Hose Black ( Part Number: MMHOSE-SUB-IHBK)
Good quality. Prepare for a battle to install it 7 months ago
It's a Mishimoto. Always good quality. Good price. Might as well order some intake gaskets for this at the same time because I honestly don't see how it can be done without taking the intake off. Even with the intake on the bench, it was still a struggle to get it aligned. I had to modify the length to get it to fit.

Works, but get ready for a struggle 8 months ago
Good quality with everything you need to hook it up. (except instructions). I had to trim mine to get the stock airbox to fit on a 04 WRX. You might think it will be easier to just remove the intake. You are mistaken. Get ready to struggle.

Does its job, but be ready to put in a LOT of work 12 months ago
Very well made part from a very good company. Its an extremely tight fit, but it is possible to get in there. You'll notice rubbing on the TGVs back by the turbo, which keeps this from being able to make it onto the turbo with the manifold on. I cant stress this enough, TAKE OFF THE MANIFOLD. BPV hose was kinked, but after changing the orientation of some hose clamps on fuel lines it was less kinked than stock. PCV hose is a stretch but it'll fit, and the breather hose in front of the manifold will look kinked too but theres plenty of room for air to move. This does require a post maf hose on the 04-08 FXT so buy that too. Would be a 5/5 if they fixed some of the fitment issues for the breather lines and TGV clearance.

Great product as always from Mishimoto  2 years ago
To get the oem turbo inlet out disconnect all the hoses going to it, and then take a pair of pliers or channel locks and squeeze the peice that sticks out of it where the recirc tube goes and wiggle it will then pop out. Move your purge control solenoid put of the way and wiggle it out. I disconnected the preasure line from the power steering pump to make it easy but you could probably work around it. The trick is when putting the new inlet in is to not catch the screws sticking out from the fuel lines. I previously replaced my lines and put them at an easier angle to not catch the new inlet. Do not trying moving them around there fuel lines for Pete sake. Simply reach your left hand in from in front of the turbo and lift up on the bottom of it to help it slide in. Make sure when you do this that your wiring harness clears and does not get caught know anything. The only pain in the butt is getting the I let to fit in the turbo if you still have tgvs. It's silicone so it wiggles around a lot you have to get the bottom on and the rest on with the help of a flathead screwdriver to get it to pop on once it's on its awesome and the clamps are nice. I've installed two of these both on bugeyes the only ones that this will be harder on is the Hawkeye due to all the air pumps and more lines running around thank the EPA for that.

    • Q: Mishimoto inlet  ?10 months ago

What is the inside diameter for the inlet?

A:  The ID of the turbo inlet at the post MAF hose connection is 3" and drops down to 2.4" at the turbo connection.

Any Fitment issues with Cobb post maf hose??
    • Q:   gabarino13687414 years ago

Will this fit the Cobb sf intake?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This does not fit the OEM post MAF hose on some vehicles, you will just need to make sure your setup uses a post MAF hose that is silicone or replace it with one.

    • Q: 2004 WRX Wagon  Patron2JZ4 years ago

Are there any gains with this hose?
      • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Horsepower and torque gains are minimal but there is benefit to installing this unit over the stock hose. The stock hose tends to collapse under higher boost levels and it does not flow very well, aftermarket hoses will help give you better boost response and reduce lag.
