This AMR Performance Turbo Inlet is designed it to fit the OEM inlet sized turbos as well as turbos with a 3" inlet.

The cast aluminum this inlet is made of disperses heat better than the stainless steel used in other inlet hoses. Being a cast part it means what you receive will be exactly what they made, where as with other inlets they weld multiple parts together to form the inlet. Where there is welding involved there is room for mistakes.

It is finished in a wrinkle red finish to give it the factory look.

This works great once installed but fitment is tight and does hit the intake. I'll be adding a phenolic spacer to give me clearance and it would make install much easier but the versatility of this is what I was looking for that lets me change from OEM inlet to 3" inlet is the best benefit.

I don’t recommend this turbo inlet. Fitment and quality is poor. After I had went through the painstaking process of fitting this turbo inlet, I discover that I wouldn’t be able to fit my power steering line without having to severely bend it which I wasn’t willing to risk. To install this, most likely loosening of the intake manifold is required, which probably means installation of new gaskets.

When it comes to buying parts online rallysportdirect is my favorite, they have always given me top notch service, many quality products, great experiences, with fast shipping. On the other hand AMR performances' cast aluminum turbo inlet was a huge pain just to have AMR send me not just one but two inlets in a row, that had a manufacture defect, in the same exact spot. After multiple months of waiting for AMR to send me a non defective inlet, I finally get one, to find out that it would not fit on my 2005 Subaru sti. This inlet has the worst clearance issues and rubs against the TGV, closest to the turbos' inlet, pushing the inlet even farther away from the turbos' inlet itself , even with the coupler included it does not even stretch far enough to the inlet of the turbo, to connect. mind that I have TGV deletes, w/ 8mm phenolic spacers ,their will need to be shaving and modifying done for this. I suggest doing the research before buying this inlet. This has no reflect on Rallysportdirect what so ever.

I have installed this in a MY00 Impreza P1 (GC/GM8). I also have the Spec C / 05 STI inlet manifold with the stock lower manifolds and TGV's blocked off. For additional clearance I have also used Grimmspeed 8mm phenolic spacers. The only issue I did run into is that on the GC, the power steering resevoir is mounted on top of the pump assembly. I fitted an 05 sti power steering pump and remote resevoir to remedy this. I have a Perrin AOS fitted and I was able to hookup all the breather ports as per the 02 WRX/STI arrangement. Other than that the pipe itself is a well made and well presented product.

    Will this not fit the 2.5 WRX? This inlet has the pcv delete, and I would be utilizing an AOS I would have to plug that port anyways. Why is it that it is not compatible? Is it shorter?

      A:  The 2008-2014 Subaru WRX's have completely different turbos then the STI's and the 02-07 WRX's. The subsequently the inlets are different which is why this will not work.

    Do you know if this will work with a jdm version 8 jdm long runner manifold and jdm twin scroll turbo? I'm not sure if spacing is different so I wanted to know if you guys had input or if AMR themselves had any input?

    Does this product need any spacers between the heads and intake for proper fit on my 06 Sti? I am also looking at 3mm or 8mm phenolic spacers in combination, but am afraid of any clearance issues.

      A:  TGV spacers are not required for installation, but they do make the installation a little easier because they provide extra clearance. We have not found any clearance issues with the 3mm spacers.

    Okay.. I'm trying to run the tvg deletes with a process west TMIC. with 3mm spacers.. You guys told me 8mm is to much for the TMIC. so 3mm was recomended. for the TMIC but, 8mm was recommeded for this cast Inlet hose. ^^^ I'm trying to figure out what I should go with either the perrion instead of this? just because I feel like it would be an easier fit. Sorry for my crappy spelling btw. Thanks.

      A:  Phenolic spacers are not required for installing this inlet, but they do add a little more clearance, which helps with the installation. If you are using a TMIC, then we recommend 3mm spacers.
